Aberdeen’s Scottish Cup Glory Marks a New Chapter in RAM Tubulars’ Proud Partnership

Aberdeen Football Club’s historic Scottish Cup triumph has not only brought joy to the Red Army faithful, but also marked a significant milestone in the club’s long-standing partnership with RAM Tubulars, a proud local business that has supported the Dons in various capacities since 2011.

RAM Tubulars is reflecting on a 14 year journey of loyal support, culminating in their current role as the Official Men’s Team Partner, Official partner of the AFC Youth Academy and shirt sponsor since 2023. Involvement with Aberdeen FC began in 2011 with the sponsorship of striker Mohamed Chalali. That same season, the company secured their first private hospitality box at Pittodrie Stadium, a base for entertaining clients and enjoying matchdays ever since.

Over the years, the bond between RAM Tubulars and AFC has only strengthened:

  • 2012–13: Sponsored seasoned defender Gary Naysmith.
  • 2013–2018 & 2020–21: Backed fan-favourite Niall McGinn through multiple campaigns.
  • 2020–21: Added rising talent Jessica Broadrick to their roster of sponsored players.
  • 2013–14 & 2016–17: Stepped in as the official Ball Boy Sponsor.
  • Since 2013: Title sponsor of the prestigious Player of the Year Awards.
  • Since 2014: Match ball sponsor of several games, as well as occasional match sponsor.
  • 2016–2019: Members of The Granite Club, demonstrating off-field support.
  • 2020: Played a pivotal role in supporting the Bobby Clark Youth Academy, nurturing the next generation of Dons talent which in 2022 Became the AFC Youth Academy in which RAM was an Official Partner
  • 2021: Launched Robbie the Ram, Aberdeen’s much-loved mascot, bringing energy to matchdays and smiles to younger fans.
  • 2023–2025: Elevated their backing as Official Shirt Sponsor and Men’s Team Partner.
